Maury County is approximately one hour south of Nashville ( Davidson County) off I-65 – depending on traffic patterns. We are about 30 minutes from Franklin/Williamson County where historic Carnton Plantation and the Carter House join Maury County’s story in the historic Hood’s Campaign of 1864 which led to the Battle of Franklin. Just an hour south of Maury County is Huntsville, AL, home of the Space and Rocket Program. Many outdoor sporting opportunities such as hunting, fishing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, etc. are available within the county.
